DIII Athletes Pissed About Blizzard As If It Matters

SAINT PETER, MN– After two days straight of heavy blizzard conditions in mid-April, Division III athletes are absolutely livid about how the weather is affecting their seasons.

“We have hardly been able to practice outdoors since outdoor season started in March,” said senior track captain Jeremy Gilman. “How are we going to get 7th place at conference without being able to practice on our state-of-the-art track and field complex?”

Not only the track team is affected by this. Both the baseball and softball teams have not been able to practice outside, and weather has resulted in countless cancellations of their games. Golf has only been able to t-up a few times this season. The tennis teams have had little issues, though, as their bubble is weatherproof and creates superhuman athletes.

Will this weather ever end? Will our okay athletes ever be able to compete? Stay tuned and check your local forecasts for more information.
